Make your website a usable point of interaction for AI agents
An agent working for a customer needs to find the right information, understand what your website supports and recognize the limits of a request. Adding a conversational interface does not necessarily solve all three problems.
PAGUP helps you design and integrate governed interactions between your website and AI agents. The starting point is not an automatic rebuild. It is a useful journey, a clear scope and controls that can be verified.
Start with a useful case
The need may be straightforward: let an agent retrieve reference information in an identifiable version. It may also involve preparing a request before confirmation or an authorized assistant working in the site’s administration area.
These cases require different access and safeguards. A read-only interaction may be sufficient. A public agent does not need an administrator’s permissions. An information-retrieval project should not become a plan to automate all your operations by default.
What we work to improve
We clarify reference resources, available capabilities, expected inputs and outcomes. Important boundaries are connected to concrete controls instead of remaining only in policy text.
The goal is to make the journey more explicit for the teams maintaining it and the systems using it. Observed effects and pilot limitations are documented, not inferred from the presence of a technical file.
A three-step approach
Assess the journey. We identify the task, sources, interfaces, permissions and risks. The assessment distinguishes site-structure issues, data-quality issues and interaction controls.
Build a bounded pilot. We select a priority journey and define the accessible resources or operations. The pilot includes controls, success and failure tests, and the evidence needed to decide what comes next.
Plan deployment and maintenance. Based on the results and agreed scope, we prepare publication, regression checks, update responsibilities and evidence reviews.
Concrete deliverables
You receive a journey map, an inventory of sources and responsibilities, an interaction contract, a prioritized correction plan and the results of the agreed tests. The pilot should establish what works, what remains limited and what still requires a decision.
Technology follows that assessment. A context runtime, an existing interface or a tool protocol may be appropriate. None is mandatory merely to make the website appear agentic.
A rebuild is not always necessary
When the issue lies in forms, states or interface readability, an agentic readiness audit can be the first step. When the site architecture prevents reliable integration, a machine-first rebuild may be necessary. When the issue concerns sources and their usage rules, AI governance and machine readability address that dimension.
This service brings those interventions together according to your situation. It does not replace them with a single label.
A verifiable scope, not a universal promise
A documented demonstration makes it possible to examine behavior under specified conditions. It does not guarantee that every agent will follow a policy, that a model will faithfully reuse every piece of information or that your website will be recommended.
The conceptual criteria are proposed within Gautier Dorval’s corpus. PAGUP translates them into professional assessment, design and integration. Deployments and results are attributed to the website and scope actually covered.
Which journey should be assessed first?
Describe what an agent should be able to find or do on your website, and what it must not be able to do. The assessment helps identify the smallest useful scope before expanding the integration.

Frequently asked questions
Must the website host an agent?
No. An external agent can retrieve identifiable context. The pilot can remain read-only, without server-side answer generation.
Is an API or MCP required?
The choice depends on the journey and existing interfaces. No protocol is mandatory; a connector alone does not establish applied controls.
What decision does the pilot support?
Success and failure tests, observed limits and the disablement or rollback mechanism determine whether the journey is ready for the agreed environment. Deployment depends on that finding and the required permissions.
Is this the same as administering WordPress?
No. PAGUP Agent Control concerns an authorized assistant’s identity and permissions within WordPress. Public context does not grant those rights, and integration with a runtime is not assumed.
