From a conversation to a draft you can review
Text suggested in a conversation is not yet content created on your website. Agent Control’s documented workflow lets you prepare that creation, select a reference and authorize the corresponding task in WordPress.
The point of this first exercise is not to automate your entire publishing operation. It is to check that your assistant uses the intended connection, works from the correct reference and creates a draft on the right site. The source page remains a reference, not a page to rewrite.
Begin with a defined task
Choose a straightforward topic and a page you are authorized to share with your assistant. Check the task settings available to you, including the content, fields and duration. Do not select broader access simply because it is offered.
Ask the assistant to use only facts supported by the reference and to flag missing information. Then locate the result in WordPress, confirm its status and read its claims. Successful creation does not establish that the writing is factually correct.
Instructions in the conversation do not replace the permissions configured in WordPress. The first-draft guide explains both sides of the workflow.
Built around practical editorial work

Advanced REST profiles are a separate path from guided tasks. The Full Power Access add-on addresses separate administrative needs; it is not required to start with a draft.

What to have ready
You use your own compatible assistant account. Its connection options depend on the provider, subscription and, where applicable, workspace permissions. The plugin does not include an AI subscription.
It does not replace your strategy, editorial review or site backups. Not every question requires a WordPress connection: an assistant can work on text you provide without access to your site.
When the work is finished, distinguish ending the task from stopping the connection. The guide explains when to end a task and when to pause or revoke a connection.
